On the threshold of a new era we can best restore the full meaning of the ancient celebration of Christmas by making it an internal process as well as an external performance. Christmas is rich with symbols and rituals which speak directly to the unconcscious to inspire us on the spiritual journey. Following the star of our intuitive guidance we can reach our own centre. Acknowledging the child of God within we can hope to better share our life and light with others. Meditating upon peace we can spread goodwill to all people.I hope your have a very Happy Christmas.

We have our usual prayer meeting on 1/09/2007 and we had discussed and mediated on Mary's song of praise-
Mary said,
My heart praises the Lord
My soul is glad because of God
oh my saviour..........................

He has remebered to show mercy to Abhraham and to all his descendentforever.(Luke-1:46-55)

Here we found "Total surrender to God without having any question " and also to under stand the will of God . Our all types of activities , thoughts etc. We all decided to have a Novena Prayer in group and in our daily prayers as she is our Protecter.

** There was a Lamb which was drinking water around the river side .. there came a Lion and said to the Lamb tha the is going to eat her..then the Lamb asked why ?? wat i have done so that you are going to eat me ..The Lion replied she has defiled his water by drinking it so i am going to eat you..i.e.made the water impure for drinking.
Then the Lamb said to Lion that she drank the water from the river which is flowing towards her side.. and i am driking the water which you already defiled up.
Then, the Lion said i will eat you now ..the lamb asked why sir..then the Lion relied as your mother abused me yeterday. Then the lamb said , Sir my mother died when i was born...so how can she abuse you...??

Here, we are a poor in spirit, money,society, education and power etc. Some of our people who are having power-socially..economically..religiously etc..there behaviour is like that of the Lion who is trying to eat the lamb.
So that , we would like to requestall of you to pray for them who is having such Lion kind Character-- they can understand the will of God .And in the name of jesus Christ they can accept and love every one like there own blood.

We have our fraternity meeting on 15/8/2007 .. we had celebrated the feast of Our lady's asscention in heaven and celebrated our 60th anniversary of independence.



My Soul glorifies the Lord.

My Spirit rejoices in God My Saviour.



The mercy promised to our fathers to Abraham and his sons forever.(luke 1:46-55)



And we all mediate on her prayer and also disscussed , how we can totally surrender ourself in our Lord's feet .

We have a question on ourself .i.e. are we able to surrender ourself in Christ ..how..??



At present in Varanasi we are praying for some of Hindu friends who are preparing for baptisim.may pl. pray for them..and for the sufferes who are facing terrible problem due to Earthquake in Peru and for the Korean ppl. who have been kidnapped in Afgansitan.

Nexteley, we ask you all ppl. to pray for our newly elected President and Vice President.. May God bless them and help them to in ruling the country and help in its development .

Meeting In June

We had a meeting on 24/06/2007..where we explored the mystery of Nazareth, it is very important to understand the contexts , both historical and geographical in which Jesus lived and grew. This is important ot ony to understand Jesus, but also to understand the mystery of incornation....

What is Mystery ?.. It is a real paradox , for some it is liberating for others it is contradiction , a cause and a sign of the rising and falling of many people (Lk 2:34) .

How do we respond in these expereinces ?? How did Jesus respond to the mystery of Nazareth. Why did Jesus choose the periphery and not the centre.?? Why did Jesus choose powerless and not the structure of power??

Where do I stand ? in Jerusalem or in Galilia ? In the centre or at the periphery ? With the powerless or with powerfull.??

We had our meeting on 20/5/2007 and disscussed an events and experiences at Nazareth. Many event and experiences took place at Nazareth. It was here that Godbecame human where the " Word Of God too Flesh ". It was here that Word Of God grew and matared in thirty years . The following events and experiences either took place at Nazareth or are in relation to Nazareth. 1. Annunciation to Mary -- Lk 1:26-38 2. Annunciation to Joseph -- Mk 1:18-25 3. Holy Family Setting in Nazareth -- Mt 2:19 4. Groth at Nazareth -- Lk 2:41,51-52 5. Baptism and Temptation -- Mt 3:13-17 -- Mk 1:9-11 6. Prophetic Preaching at Nazareth -- Lk 4:16-30 7. Public teaching healing -- Mt 4:23-25 -- Lk 4:14-15 8. Jesus abandons Nazareth -- Mt 4:12-13 9. Nazareth re-visited -- Mt 13:53-58 10. Apparition of the Risen Lord -- Mt 28:16-20 Request 1. ere we are working with Dalits/Downtroddens who are very much intrested in Christ...Pl. Pray for them. 2. If we goes to international news, we found nowdays there is Cold War going on between Iran and US regarding Nuclear matter..pl. Pray for peace.

Melbourne fraternity news

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

It gives us a great pleasure to briefly report on the actual situation of the Australian Melbourne Fraternity.

Until the end of 2006, there have been only three members, Father Sullivan, Kenny and Simon, present at our monthly meetings. From the first regular four members, one, Dominic Khanh Pham, has not been able to come, due to ill health. He had a stroke two years ago, but now, many thanks to God, he gets better and can enjoy a quite normal life.
On the 2006 Anniversary of Br Charles, we took part at a meeting, Holy Mass and meal at the home of the Little Sisters of Jesus and invited their friends to joiner our group. The happy result was that our 69th meeting of February 2007 was of great significance. After much striving and prayer we were able to bring into our fraternity three new members. Perhaps Brother Charles worked a miracle after his recent beatification. The three new members are Bob and Marlene Martin and Sister Gillian Ranasinghe. During this meeting, Simon, on behalf of the group, expressed our great joy and thank to God for answering our prayer. The meeting of the 30th of March also saw another in our mist, namely Deqhne Therese, now a making our membership to total of seven.

Adelaide Group update. Recently several members of the Charles de Foucald group in Adelaide attended the Laurence Freeman workshop about Christian meditation. We had ourannual Charles de Foucald Day in December 2006 and invited several new people to attend. We have met several Little Sisters from other countries who have been staying with the Little Sisters in Adelaide they have been from Ireland, South Korea and the USA. Several of the group are interested in attending some of the events for Reconciliation Week for Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. We continue to meet on a monthly basis for Gospel sharing and meditation. Michele Cochrane
